A Great Heartbeat - CPR, First Aid, & AED Instruction

A Great Heartbeat is a mobile CPR, First Aid, and AED Instruction service. We are happy to cater to your preference of location for a greater comfort level of learning. We encourage family and playgroup classes so that you can learn with those you're closest to. We find that classes are more relaxed and more open to questions with a group that is already acquainted.

At A Great Heartbeat we are dedicated to providing the most comprehensive CPR, First Aid & AED classes available. If you don't leave our classes with all the necessary skills and techniques to perform in a life-saving situation, lives are at risk. With our hands on training and state of the art visual aids we are confident that all students with the interest in learning will walk away from our classes with the ability and self-confidence to be able to react to an emergency situation with clear thinking and a steady hand.

A Great Heartbeat wants to reach out to all those willing to learn and will accommodate groups as small as 3. Our belief in what we do is so great that we want to insure as many people as possible have access to information that could save a life. For this reason we are available to come to your location for emergency and scheduled classes.

For larger classes A Great Heartbeat will travel throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona, Fees are negotiable.

Course Directory & Pricing

BLS/Healthcare Provider/AED (6 Hours) ($85, includes booklet)
This is an American Heart Association class designed for the Healthcare professional.
i.e.. EMT, RN, CNA, LVN. The course will cover basic CPR for adult, child, infant, and two
person. Course includes Airway management, bag valve use, and AED training. All
participants who successfully complete the written exam and skills demonstration will
receive a BLS for Healthcare Provider course completion card that is valid for two years.

BLS/AED Healthcare Provider Re-Certification: (3-5 Hours) ($75)
Course designed to Re-Certify Healthcare Professionals in CPR for Adult, child and Infant,
AED & FBAO.

Heartsaver/AED: (4 Hours) ($60)
Course combines CPR and AED for Adult, Child and Infant. Caters to Adult and Child
DayCare Providers, Contractors, Teachers, and other non-health care professionals.

CPR/AED/First Aid: (7 Hours) ($75)
Course provides basic techniques in CPR and First Aid for Adult, Child and Infant. Relief of
Foreign-Body Airway Obstructions (FBAO).

Basic CPR/AED only: (4 Hours) ($55)
Course teaches basic techniques in CPR for Adult, Child and Infant. Relief of
Foreign-Body Airway Obstructions (FBAO).

Basic First Aid only: (4 Hours) ($55)
Course teaches basic techniques in First Aid for Adult, Child and Infant.

Baby-Sitting Preparation: (5 Hours) ($55)
Course teaches student the responsibilities as a sitter, how to handle most emergencies
and how to find a job. Students must be a minimum 11 years old. Students receive a
Certificate of Completion.

Baby-sitting Preparation with CPR and First Aid Program: (8 Hours) ($75)
Course provides students a complete Baby-Sitting Preparation Course and CPR/Basic
First Aid. Students must be a minimum 11 years old. Students receive a Certificate of
Completion and Certification in CPR and First Aid.

Each student will receive a packet of course materials and Course Completion Certificate.
